Nextage provides Avionics and Aerospace Systems engineering services engineering services, software design, and automated test system development, resulting in accurate, reproducible, and efficient results to industry clients.
With over twenty years of engineering experience, Nextage founder Iain Miller has supported aerospace and defense projects providing design, systems engineering, and technical leadership to customers including NASA, JHU/APL, UCLA, and Aeroflex/Cobham, namely New Horizons, RBSP, DART, and JPSS.
Iain has published and presented several articles on the advancement of spacecraft Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) re-use and automation and has worked on more than twenty space missions performing various engineering and leadership roles including Electrical Systems, Integration and Test (I&T), Ground Support Lead, Launch Site Integration, and Simulator Development. Additionally, he has developed several custom acquisition and control systems including an automated multi-UUT thermal vacuum test cell and a high accuracy piezoelectric jitter measurement system.
Iain holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and an MS in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
Bob Vernot, Nextage Vice President, has over thirty-five years of experience in the aerospace industry as a designer, systems engineer, manager and technical leader on NASA, USAF and JHU/APL Projects and Services Contracts. Bob has performed in various Project technical roles, including Systems Engineer, Electrical Systems Engineer, EMI/EMC Engineer, Deputy Chief Engineer and I&T Manager on numerous major NASA missions. Bob has served as deputy Program Manager and Technical Group Lead on several large technical services contracts at NASA GSFC.
