Nextage is proud to announce the opening of our first European office in Delft, Netherlands, marking a significant milestone in the company’s global expansion strategy. This move reflects Nextage’s long-term commitment to supporting foreign markets, strengthening international partnerships, and building a permanent presence within the European space industry.

As demand for Nextage’s solutions grows beyond North America, establishing a European hub allows us to better serve our customers around the globe. This structure enables Nextage to do business directly within the European Union, unlocking new opportunities for collaboration, scalability, and innovation across European markets.

A Strategic Step Toward Global Growth

The decision to establish a presence in the Netherlands was shaped by a recent trip from Nextage principals Iain Miller and Bob Vernot that focused on deepening relationships, exploring growth opportunities, and identifying the right foundation for Nextage’s future in Europe.

Centrally located and known for its strong infrastructure, business-friendly environment, and global outlook, the Netherlands offers an ideal foundation for international operations. Upon arrival, Delft quickly emerged as a natural fit–not only for its strategic location relative to our Mid-Atlantic headquarters, but for its enduring legacy of innovation, engineering excellence, and forward-thinking way of life–similar to the culture we aim to cultivate at Nextage.

With this expansion, Nextage is establishing a full-time, on-the-ground presence in Europe, reinforcing our commitment to long-term investment in the region.

Why Delft, Netherlands?

The Netherlands has a rich and well-earned reputation as a global leader in innovation. For centuries Dutch ingenuity has shaped industries ranging from navigation and maritime trade, to engineering and water management. This legacy continues today through advanced technology, design, and sustainable engineering practices–especially in the aerospace industry.

With booming businesses collaborating on space missions across nations, along with R&D infrastructure to support the creation of the most advanced aerospace technologies, Delft truly embodies this spirit of innovation. Known worldwide for its contributions to engineering, architecture, and design, the city blends technical excellence with creative thinking. It is a place where bold ideas are developed, tested, and brought to life–values that strongly align with Nextage’s mission and mindset.

Beyond engineering, the Netherlands’ influence on art, architecture, and urban design reflects a culture that values both precision and creativity. This balance mirrors Nextage’s own approach to building solutions that are both powerful and skillfully designed.
